Bikes: Lots of English 3-speeds, a couple of old road bikes, 3 mountain bikes, 1 hybrid, and a couple of mash-ups
What Should I Do?
I have 2 hybrid bikes:
1. Schwinn Crisscross, lugged chrome/moly frame and forks (good shape). I replaced the brakes, brake levers, shifters, and bars. I got it for $15 a couple of years ago. It is a bit too small for me, but I can manage. My wife may warm to it as her bike.
2. Univega Activa Trail, welded chrome/moly frame and high tensile forks (great shape). I got it for $50 a year ago and have done nothing to it other than bearing maintenance. it is a bit larger than the Crisscross, but that stretches the limits of a bike my wife could ride comfortably.
So I intend to sell one of them. I ride the Crisscross more than than the Univega, but it is not my favorite bike by any means. I ride my Raleigh 3-speeds more and more lately. So which one should I sell?

What you should do is not sell either until your wife decides which bike she likes. Then the decision which to sell is easy.

+1 It's not like you have a big investment in either, nor would a sale of either yield you any real money, as they'd probably fetch $100-$135 each. Although fully overhauled and tarted up, I did sell an Activa Trail for $235.

For what it's worth...I bought a $15 Schwinn CrissCross for my wife, added NorthRoad bars, and a big fat saddle, and she loves it!
A year later I added some Schwalbe Marathons because my wife is a goathead magnet
. So I say keep the CrissCross!
Cheers
