Here are some pics like Scott's that I tried to replicate. I really appreciate all the information everyone has shared with me! I wonder what stories this frame could tell and who it was made for.

Bikes: are fun!

Can you feel boron reinforcements under the paint on the inside of the stays and fork blades? They're pretty easy to notice on mine, but it's from quite a few years before yours.

Is the steerer tube rifled? Guessing the fork is SLX.

You asked about the bottom bracket in an earlier post - Diablo Scott's webpage mentions a kit by reset racing in Germany for replacement. I haven't looked into them yet (if they're available), but that's an option for you. Of course, if the bearings in yours are fine, which they should be, you only really need a spindle. Not sure what you need there. The bb shell width and spindle length on mine are odd (it has a campag strada crank set). I don't have the measurements on-hand, but could share them with you if it'd help. Again, significant difference in years, so I'm not sure if my measurements would be relevant for you.

It's an interesting bike and in great condition, do you have plans for it yet or is figuring out fit the current hurdle?

Thanks for posting the new pics - I see that my eyes were deceiving me. I believed the original dropout pic was shown from the rear, but I see now it was shot from underneath on the non-drive side.

Glad everything is straight. That's just a cool frame all-around. And even has a matching frame-fit pump, I see. Cool

I think the steerer tube is rifled. If I look up into it from the bottom its not round. Also the fork blades might have some reinforcements. They are definitely smoothed out on the inside by the fork crown. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the frame. I'm almost certain it would be to small for me as i normally ride about a 55cm. Some bikes I can fit a 54 and some a 56. Although my Kona Sutra is a 53cm go figure. It seems older geometry is different than the newer stuff out there. For now I enjoy having it on the shelf in my bedroom. It sure is pretty.

So Basically, from what everyone told me, this is most likely a Klein Team Super from 1985 or 1986. Probably a 51 or 52cm frame. I appreciate all the compliments and help ID'ing my Frame. It's on the wall for now. It's a beautiful frame set!

Why doesn't this thread show up in my recently started threads? None of My current stuff shows up? Do I have to change some settings?
