Battaglin - help with ID please
Hello, long time lurker and now a new member! I bought this, the decals were stripped except for the Columbus ones. I have no idea of the model or year it was made. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Looks like it only has braze-ons for a single bottle, which would make it early/mid 80s. Braze-on FD points to a nicer frame. Maybe SL tubing or TRETUBI. Nice bike.

Yes, agreed that it looks like a nice one and somebody with a Pinarello may pay you a premium for the panto'd chainring (which is a mis-match for you).
Do you think it's a re-paint? The decal would ordinarily indicate "SL" tubing but it's an earlier style decal than I'd expect on an "80s frame. Also the "little flag braze-on" MAY (and may not) indicate this was built by the shop/contractors who built the later-year Ciocc (and Conti and John) as well as many of the Concordes for that marque.

Pretty cool bike; definitely quality. Hope you don't have to wait too long for thaw, so you can go for spin on it.

Not sure if its a repaint. I agree the lug linings look a bit sloppy. I think the previous owner may have done them. I'm up in Toronto Canada so winter will be here soon. New tires by the weekend though so I'll have a few more weeks to ride, albeit bundled up for warmth.
