Yes. I have this weird service from USPS called Informed Delivery. I get an email with pictures of my mail before it arrives in my mailbox. This morning, I saw that I have an envelope from Nashville, NC, and it is hand-addressed, and I assume it has the decals.
@USAZorro said he'll be away for the week. Would it make sense for me to send the BOC to @nlerner? He can then send it to @USAZorro, and then we can resume the normal order. |

I'll be away from this coming Friday (evening) for 9 days. If you can kick it out the door today, it should be ok. If not, I might need to bump down 2 spots.

It's 11am as I write this, and I'm at work. The box is at home. I could get it in the mail tomorrow morning, which would get it to you Thursday night, and I suspect that's not enough time for you to turn it around before you leave.

Last night, I went to the mini post office near my home. The lobby is available 24 hours a day. We are supposed to swipe a credit card (I guess because our names are embedded in the magnetic strip) to buzz ourselves in. But it seemed to be powered off, and I couldn't get in.
It was raining and blowing heavily this morning. I took the wrapped and labeled BOC with me and strapped it into the basket on a Citi Bike bike and rode to the full size post office. Strapping it in was very hard, as the bungie cord didn't want to reach the built-in hook. I got to the post office, and the label had been ruined. I asked a postal clerk if she could pull the label up by the number and reprint, but she said no. I rode back home to drop the BOC off, and by then, the box had become soft from water, so I'll need to replace the flat rate box. I wasn't going to carry it to work on the subway. It's damned heavy, and I think the post office might be losing on this flat rate deal when things are this heavy. I rode Citi Bike to the subway. I'm at work now, drying off. I'll try again tomorrow. Sorry. |

For Priority Mail, they'll pick it up if you notify them.

I am re thinking my crap recraping. Total crap recall.

The growing weight of the BoC is concerning. What happens if we overload it to the point that the box tears open? I propose we only put in titanium and carbon fiber crap from now on. And copy noglider's example and replace the box if it looks even a bit iffy.

After reviewing your position in the crap line, however, I see where you're going with this. |

As an member of RONA, with t-shirt to prove it, I must protest. This can be easily fixed with lugged, steel box corners.

I'm just saying, if you're gonna put a still-good chain in the BoC, and are holding a $8 KMC in one hand and a drilled hollowpin Regina in the other hand, think of the poor postlady. I'm all about being considerate to others.

I have expressed my interest to gugie, regarding a frame building class in the future, and about having some welding, brazing, etc. tutorials. This might be a good time - I could braze a liner "frame" for the BOC internals. I would be willing to do that for the group and the BOC.
Yeah, I know.....I'm a giver like that. :thumb: |

gugie - got any Nervex lugs we could incorporate?
