There is an attachment feature. You can upload them directly if you go to the advanced feature.

I think something happened here. I was formerly able to post pictures which linked to Google but now all I get are broken links. Perhaps something changed at Google but, either way. something changed somewhere and so I guess I'll need to get yet another photo hosting account to go with the zillion ones I already have.

I'm another fan of Flickr. Has changed hardly at all over the 10 years or so I've used it and I've never had problems on the Forum posting pics from it.
Their Pro account is about $30 a year, but if you don't take tons of pics it costs nothing. Recommended

I seriously doubt everyone has that experience. It would be in the news if it were true. Have someone look over your shoulder to figure out what you need to do.

@Abe_Froman Why don't you just use the BF attachment feature? The pictures won't appear inline, so it's not perfect, but at least they'll be there.
Click 'Go Advanced' below the Quick Reply box, then hit the paper clip on the menu bar. You can upload pics directly from your computer and they'll appear at the bottom of your post, as here. Note that there are file size limitations, though I'm not sure of the max allowed.

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Normally I'm not quite so tech challenged...but I cannot make this work

Pic issues aside, is the box on its way to @zze186 from @Abe_Froman? I'm next and getting itchy. Need my hit of crap.

I switched to Google Photos, but I can only post links. If I try the photo link on this forum, the photos display the little broken icon. And when I post links, my real name is always displayed.
Any suggestions, anyone, for something that plays well with Bike Forums?

What is good? Photobucket has become a real pita to use, super slow, buggy, lots of ads, and I even got a ransom malware attack from them recently.

Just do it. There's a trick to linking photos, but start there, when you're ready to post, let us know.
Since most of our photos are from our phones, there's an app for that. Auto uploads if you want. Ability to keep photos private, or share only with friends. High resolution storage and viewing.

I have not participated in the crap-go-round for a while, and I think it's time to play again. Please add me to the list.
I use https://postimage.io/
It's a very simple site, no frills, all it does is give you a place upload pictures and then gives you links to post them. You don't have register or log in at all if you don't care about keeping an album active:
And if you don't mind taking an extra 5 seconds to make things simpler for people looking at your image, what I like to do is copy the "Thumbnail for Forums" into my BF post, then copy the "Direct Link" into the space in the code between the url= and first bracket so that when somebody clicks on the thumbnail here it opens directly instead of linking to PostImage viewer like it does in the unmodified link below. Of course this is not in any way necessary, just my own editorial comment...

Now that the box is moving again, it looks like I need to start digging deep into my part bins for some goodies.

Sorry, I should have been clearer - I was demonstrating how it doesn't work on a mobile device.
