Is there any way an exception can be made to the post count requirement? I read the rules and I have some awesome crap to put in that box!

I'm sorry to hear that. The post office is closed today anyways, so I'll get it out tomorrow.

With respect to the rule making wisdom of Crapmasters past, I say no, but looking at your post count and recent forum join date, I can say that it won't take long for you to meet the Rule 10 requirement.

May I also suggest that you add to your Bio where you live (doesn't have to be super specific), as you may be near other forum members. Our Portland contingent does C&V rides and get togethers, and help each other out whenever possible. List some of your bikes (you do have more than one, right?), and if you have any other online bicycle related presence, link to that as well.

Not a bad idea, posting the weight. I am extremely hesitant to add to our already bloated rules, but highly encourage this.

I also see that the Flickstand inventory is getting whittled down.

I'm not sure what it weighed when it came in, but there may have been a net gain, since I put in some heavier metal items.

That was the only Flickstand. Some people hate them, I wish they came in more sizes for oversized tubes.

I actually thought I had several flickstands but could only find the one. What I do have a lot of are those Rhode Gear bottle mounts--you know, the ones with the proprietary bottles that had a plastic wedge at the back that slid securely into the mount. I do have one of those bottles (purchased new in the 80s) though flip top isn't connected to the bottle any longer. And for some reason I have a bunch of mounts.

25 pounds or thereabouts, wow, that's why it felt so heavy when I took it to the post office on my bike.

You rode to the PO with the equivalent of a second bike! I know all my bikes would come in under the BOC's current weight

Who wants a Flickstand? I've got one I will never use; first PM gets it for the cost of shipping.

OK... I beseech thee, Mighty Master of Crap... I acknowledge the crappy rules and having successfully navigated the exchange of crap in the past, request addition to the list in order to replicate my one-day turnaround, and someday enter the BOC Hall of Fame for prompt response.

Besides, the winter is long and dark... and I need some joy in my mailbox.

Added, with ranking of MR2. If you've slung crap in past games, The Omniscient Master of Crap will upgrade your denoted standing forthwith to the proper rankage.

May the glow from the BOC warm your cockles

Wait, if The Crapmaster were truly omnisicient...

Oh mighty (and hopefully forgiving) Crapmaster, and fellow Crapsters- my apologies for the delay in posting pictures of my first ever haul. Technical difficulties were finally overcome, and I am here to fulfill the last of my requirements. Perhaps this will provide a modicum of entertainment for those players suffering from the winter doldrums.

On first arrival:

Upon opening:
[IMG][/IMG]

And my haul:

I've seen in subsequent pictures that the Mardi Gras cup I included is no longer in the box. I wasn't sure if it would last a trip, but I was trying to add a little local color. If I sign up again, I have since come into ownership of a nice bottle opener from a local brewery. That'll go out next time.

Verily you are forgiven (barely), but note that page one has been modified so that others shall see the permanent shame, forever chiseled into the ether, that your moniker shall be forevermore bound.

You sayin' you wanna reup?

I shall bear this shame and count it as a just punishment .

And no, I feel the need to collect, not disperse, at this moment in time.

Oh mighty and dedicated Crapmaster, I beseech you to add my name to the list a second time so I both withdraw and deposit more crap from the coveted Box of Crap.

As an offering to you, the Crap Community, and the Crap Gods, I present to you shiny, heart shaped hubs!

A picture of the wheels would just end up in a divorce filing though..

Amazing what children can do if you lock them in a room without their supper.

Great idea! I'll lock my twin girls into a room with no electronic devices but with a set of old Normandy hubs, some files, sandpaper, and polish and tell them they can come out when they look like that picture...

Oh, come on, be a good father and just suggest that particular cutout shape. You gotta allow some room for creativity.
