Pre-CPSC v. Post-CPSC Cranks
Other than requiring different spindle lengths, is there a dimensional difference between Campy Record cranks pre-CPSC and post-CPSC?

The later cranks are "flatter on the back side", part of the reason for the longer spindle necessary with the later arms, there is more dimension between the outer chainring face and the back side of the drive side arm, to allow the revised derailleur cage with the extra dimension of the lip to clear.
The differences are small but notable.
I have used a later derailleur with an early crank arm but you have to set it up very carefully.
The earlier cranks will have a slightly smaller "Q" factor.

I assume the non-drive side arms are identical pre- and post?
