"Sold stuff with their name on it" is more like it. That said, their Italian-made framesets were pretty nice.

Bikes: Too many Bicycles to list

I had a Performance 505 MTB that I really liked, just as I finished setting it up a guy that came over to look at another bike I was selling made me an offer that was too good to pass up and I sold it, today I would have turned him down.

I have a 1992 Performance Parabola touring bike. It is built like a mountain bike, but with touring geometry. I use it for my foul weather bike. I am at work, so I will post pics later.

I remember seeing them in the catalogues, don't think I ever saw one in person.

"Performance" is such a classier name than "Scattante"... even though it was obviously a mail order bike.

Serotta actually did a run for Performance at one point, too.
