An Offer for Torelli Fans

Free deal for Torelli fans: --- the frame has been spoken for, thanks ---

I have a somewhat rough 1986 Torelli in 56cm size. Oria steel frame. I'm the original owner and it's spent the last 10 years in this condition sitting in a shed. If you're a Torelli fan and want to bring this back to life, you can have the frame for free. Please don't take it unless you are serious about actually making it roadworthy again. I'd rather see it go to a good home than the landfill.

Terms: I take the frame to the local bike shop. You pay them to box it and ship to you. That's it.

The frame is straight but cosmetically not as nice as the picture. Decals are partially torn off, there's multiple places with with missing paint and surface rust has set in. Scrapes, scratches, pitting. Everything you see is original except the handlebar tape and the brake hoods. The rear D is Campy. I can be reached offline at jvarn359 [at] yahoo [dot] com

58? The HT looks a bit short for that. Do you know the standover height?

Good eye, thank you! I mismeasured the first time. I re-measured twice and it is definitely a 56cm C-to-C.

Message sent, frame is my size and this past week I ended up with a complete group and wheelset that need a new frame to hang on. *fingers crossed*

Two people have responded so far, so it's safe to say the Torelli is spoken for. Thanks for playing everybody :-)

Bikes: American, Italian, and Japanese.. in no particular order.

JR@Velocals has decals for Torelli Super Strada. This appears to be a Corsa Strada. All decals are same with 'model name' decal being the only difference.
