Bikes: Too many to list

Haven't seen this Vintage Giant road before

Today on Craigslist I found this Giant Perigee road bike and I had to have it. But I have never seen this model before. The condition is close to mint.

Bikes: roadsters, club bikes, fixed and classic

I remember those, circa '89 maybe? They were soon eclipsed by the 1st gen Giant carbon frames, the ones with the flat profile forks that would obviously flex in a fast corner. Then Giant moved into OCRs and TCRs and their steel road dept. was pretty much done by then AFAIK. Last gen Giant steel road?

This has the logo introduced for the 1990 model year, so it should be no older than that. I believe that they were manufactured with this component mix circa 1990-1992. We should be able to identify the exact model year via the serial number. They were an entry level sports model that sold in the $275-$350 US price range, depending on the exact year.

I had a blue Perigree that had been converted to a single speed. Frame rode well, but it was a little on the heavy side even without the components. It was one of three bikes stolen in SF in a single year. Yours looks minty. Enjoy it!
