Jersey Shorts shoes ..
Try & match the shade better, I see 3 different ones..
and level that saddle.
I thought is was the color of the sky over Milan after all those factory smokestacks changed It, from Blue.

Mis-matched shades, no matter the color, ruin the effect. Gotta be very close or why bother?

The slight misses just don't cut it. It's true that there are a lot of different celeste colors on Bianchis over the years. Can't blame the aftermarket for slight misses. After two sets of bar tape misses I went with dark blue. Contrast as opposed to a near miss. I like white the best but don't like the dirt.

Oh I don't mind opinions. Actually it's been helpful. If I had a bad haircut I'd want friends to tell me. This morning I was looking again at the bike and was like "They're crazy!" Then I looked at it sideways and said "But can they all be crazy?" Then I kind of looked at it upside down and said "Damn! You ugly!" So I've experimented with easy changes. The tires have to stay right now because I don't have any other clinchers and they ride so well. Can't post pictures right now but it's wearing a black saddle with black tape and grey cables.

Ok, so I'd go with all black tires & black housing - the eye focuses on the frame of the bike. I would go with a Honey saddle to go with the tan hoods - not an exact match but they're the same "flavor". Plus it's not so harsh as to wash out the frame color like a black saddle would do. I'd do silver - likely matte for the bottle cage. I'm not sure on the bar tape. Not black or honey. My initial "gut" was white, but I'm not sure.
The point is, at least if it were my bike, to keep the eye on the frame, and not get distracted by too many other colors/things going on. Otherwise it just looks "busy". I really like the Fizik Microtek in grey - it's actually a pearl silver-ish grey, and it's very rich looking.

This^^^ is spot on, highlight the beautiful frame . I like the idea of the black saddle, and tape . Black tires would look sweet ; I would keep the grey cables . Very nice bike, BTW !

Off shades are off putting, if that is a phrase. Show us the improvements!
I bought some tires that were blue to go with the Le Champion.....yuck! Now the only pictures I have are the ones with those tires! The bike is bent and in the storage unit.
If everything was Celeste, it would remind me of the white painted bikes that are erected as memorials!

You have to see it to believe it, this rider took his old Ross and did it up in Celeste:
Mark D?s 1982 Ross Gran Tour II | Old Ten Speed Gallery
Good article, he really likes that bike. For the beach, the color works.

Yeah, I like the new look better. With this setup, the tires are close enough to the decal color that I'd leave them until they're completely worn out and then look for something gumwall, but that's just me.

Here's the Bianchi now. Whatever it looks like, still the best riding bike in my stable!

and here I am after conquering both sides of the mountain at the Evergreen Brickworks and Pottery road all in one afternoon on said Bianchi:

That might actually be the most succinct, and probably accurate, explanation for why celeste is now light greenish-blue (or light blueish-green) that I've ever read.

I have a Limited bought new in 1986, still riding wonderfully. I believe it came with a white saddle and bar tape originally. Had the original handle bars and seat stolen from the bike in the late 80's, memory ma be failing me in this as in so many other things. I love the celeste color on a frame but the celeste bar tape never looks right to me.

OP..Honest opinion..you have three major areas of color..saddle, tape, and frame. If they all matched perfectly..then you'd really need the right splash of color (probably a complimentary color of some shade) in just the right amount in other places to set things off. As you have it now..it violates about every design principle known to man. Sort of closely matching, but not matching..ugh..looks like a guy in plaid bermuda shorts, black socks, and a striped shirt. Dump the tires too..you need negative space (black) to help set off the frame. Not what you wanted to hear..but..
