Threaded Bottom Bracket Seal Source

Help! I have googled a lot without a source.

Any hope or just replace with new sealed unit. Seems that is the easy thing, but I'm cheap not easy.

Bikes: Still a garage full

Good luck! I needed the left side of a cartridge bb when in FL, and got hosed for $10. Either try the local coop or splurge $10 for a whole new UN-26. They work fine.

Can you post a pic of the gap between the smallest chain ring and the frame? I realize it is prob not possible as you have dismantled, but it is entirely possible that we can help improve the chain line somewhat.

Sealed units are great, not original, but I prefer them, admitting I am not running anything top end so I am not in a boat where I would need to run a ball and cup system for Suntour or Campag group sets.

It is stripped now. If there is a problem with the chain line I am not yet aware of it.

Univega Rover Sport that will be sold when roadworthy.
