Normandy luxe competition
Does anyone have an orphaned gold label Normandy luxe competition rear hub (the one with integrated dust caps)? I have a front one and need a rear one so I can complete wheel set for my raleigh competition.

I have a set of matching wheels off a 1973 Raleigh Competition. These are the original tubulars: High flange Normandy Luxe Competitions (for sure) laced to Nisi rims (I think). If you think this is something that you might want, feel free to send me a pm. I haven't used them since I got them several years ago, so it's time to move them on.

There are three generations of the Normandy Luxe Competition. The one you are seeking is the second. It was current roughly 1969-73. First generation has the oil hole clip and third generation has the red label and dustcaps. These hubs tended to be fitted to French bicycles and just a very few British ones. So most of the examples one encounters are metric/french threaded for the gear block. Happily the thread is coded on the hub so it is not necessary to measure. If there is a groove just inboard of the gear block threads on the hub body they are BSC/ISO. If that area is smooth/plain they are metric/french threaded.
