new wheels help
My sister had her vintage Raleigh Sportif tuned up. The bike mechanic said she will need set of new aluminum wheels so she can ride longer distances. I need guidance to where to source some new wheels

Hmm... Did he elaborate on what was wrong with the wheels? If they work for short distances they should work for long distance.
If they're cracked or something along those lines, then you definitely need new wheels. Many folks here point to Velomine for good, inexpensive wheelsets suitable for vintage bikes. You'll want to know a couple of things:
-Rim size: 27" or 700c
-Frame spacing to determine hub/axle width (OLD): Probably 126mm
