Freewheel Advice

Folks

Need to get a 6 Speed freewheel for an old pair of wheels to use on my mid 80's bike, any recommendations for a 13/14-23/24 freewheel I can source in the UK.

Looked at some secondhand items on eBay etc not sure I would trust one so would rather have a new one if they are any good.

Thanks

Dave

Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

A 7 will probably work as well and give you an extra gear.

Assuming they can source such things on your little island nation , the IRD Classica 13-24 ought to fit the bill.

P.S. Miracle of miracles, they can!

Depending on OLD -- good thing to check. If you have a ultra-6, as I do on the Peugeot, it won't take a 7-speed. If you have a standard 6, you may be able to squeeze a 7, or you may need another 2mm on the drive side (128mm OLD officially).
