Is riding in the 90s hard there? We have temperatures like that here in the summer, and it's humid, making it effectively hotter. Do you lack shade, or is there something else that makes it dicey? I've never ridden in the desert.

@noglider: Nah, 90s are perfectly tolerable. They're just not nice like the 80s.
It's the months of 105+ that get ya. That and the off-the charts UV index.

Well..... Does anybody have any swap or ride reports?

I was able to drive down to Oro Valley today, and saw lots of riders on Rancho Vistoso Dr... But I had my elderly mother with me to visit family, so no riding for me this time.

Up to mid 90's is fairly comfortable, 105 is the limit for tolerable. A 30* temp swing is normal, so a day that tops out at 95* may be in the 60's in the AM, and upper 70's at noon.

That's a wide swing. I experienced wide swings while visiting Denver this past July. Stuff like that doesn't happen here in the northeast very commonly.
