83 Peugeot PSV more info needed pls
Hi. I posted previous thread called 83/84 Peugeot PSV. Finally figured out why I couldn't post photos. Can I get more info on this bike please? I couldn't pass it up. Bought it for $150. Thank you.

You got a very fine deal at $150. The vitus supervitus tubing set is top notch and very light weight. The suntour blue line derailleurs are good quality. These look to be tubular wheels which is a mixed bag. They're high performance and light weight. If you flat, you have to glue a new tire on though. If you don't like them, you can replace these with clinchers. If these are tubulars, I'd ride them for a while and see what you think. The ride quality is very good. You'll have to buy a spare in case of a flat though.
In any case, you will want to overhaul the bike with fresh grease and new ball bearings and replace all the consumables (cables, chain, etc.) When you overhaul the bike, you can deal with any rust issues and then wax the bike.

Huge thanks Bikemig! Your information is full of things new to me ie tubulars vs clinchers. So much to learn :-) I cannot wait to ride it. Will definitely ride it only on sunny days. Thanks a million again for taking the time; much appreciated :-)
