Complete spiffing up and gear change. The BioPace junk was pitched for the Race Face 53/39 and 14-28 freewheel. New seat, pedals, cables, tires and tape. This is a whole new bike.

Took it out for a ride though the roads were a bit damp. Now I know why Miyata's have a loyal following.

I started mine the other way - two Miyata-built '84 Univegas, then the '86 Miyata 710. All ride nice, but the 710 glides effortlessly!
