Here's another good example:

I think we can agree that this would detract value from a bike, and likely from the b-o'-c

Bikes: too many or not enough

Just to poke the bear(s). This is off my '72 Masi. Came like this from the original owner but certainly it is not factory. I added the paint infill. I like it but would not claim it is more reliable or that it wouldn't cause problems with many miles. But then chainrings don't last forever anyway.

The Zeus drillium is from the factory:

My only current drillium and I think it's my fave crank. Probably factory, sorry for crap pic. Pedals came with it.

Forgot to answer the thread question. For me well done drillium can enhance the value.

Looking for a guy or gal to copy a Confente ring. Almost have convinced a gal to whip out the rotary table on her Bridgeport and give it a go...
If I was single I would be in love, a girl who can fabricate.

A female machinist? Where, oh pray tell? As your attorney I advise you to have her do it,
and take pics while she's doing so.

legendary-

What do you think these bars, or any other 'drillium' piece from this very special would fetch?

with all of those holes in the handlebar???

Definitely not safe for long rides... might be okay for an hour, though.
