Bikes: In service - FSIR Spin 3.0, Bannard Sunny minivelo, Dahon Dash Altena folder. Several others in construction or temporarily decommissioned.

Most appropriate handlebar for this bike...

I'd like to think that the lines on this minivelo are inspired by and reminiscent of Art Nouveau design aesthethics. Imagine we are in the roaring 1920s. What handlebar would this bike be sporting? I'd like a sporty rather than townie look. Lauterwasser, Swallow, flipped Tourist?

My first reaction is Nitto/Riv Bosco bar, but that's not very sporting, is it? A Lauterwasser might look kind of cool, if you want a more sporty position. If it were mine I'd probably split the difference and go for one of the SOMA bird bars, flipped. Hmm, that came out wrong. Anyhow, the sparrow, dove and albatross seem like good choices.

No. Not enough rise/drop. It's gotta have a medium amount of rise/drop. Not as much as drop bars, but more than the 1.3mm rise/drop of the Jones H-bar.

Flipped, possibly. Up-side up, no. Too townie.

Yes...inverted North Roads is similar to inverted Tourist.

The saddle will likely be a B17 Imperial. Brooks Ergon leather grips are already on the bike.

My first reaction was, definitely something bow-shaped like this. Noah?s Arc Bar | SOMA Fabrications

But what do you think of this? Condorina Bar | SOMA Fabrications

Well, the stock bar is a bowed flat bar, along the lines of the Noah, but these are modern bars, not what you'd find in Art Nouveau. The bar's gotta have a moderate amount of drop/rise, and offer a fairly moderate backsweep with distinct rather than continous bends.

Condorina? Love the Condorina, and I've got one on order, but it will go on another bike, the mixte minivelo.

Bikes: Too many to list here check my signature.

I think you need something curvy to compliment that graceful lines of that frame. Inverted North Roaf, Mustache ot those classic "English Racer" type that sort of look like drop bars but not as deep

Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...

I don't think you should pick the handlebar based on aesthetics, but on the position you want to achieve for riding the bike. The same applies to the saddle. Position includes the angle of your pelvis against the saddle and the way your wrists are twisted, as well as of course the way your back bends and things like that.

A straight bar would put your hands even to the point where the handlebar meets the stem, both in height and reach. So, in comparison to that, the Soma Lauterwasser bar puts your hands lower, but neither forward nor back. Mustache bars will put your hands farther forward, but only a little lower. North Road bars will put your hands farther back, and either higher or lower depending how you put the bar in. One of them will feel right. That's the one to chose. Get used to the look after you figure out what fits.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

With all those curvy tubes, the straight-blade fork looks incongruous.

Bikes: 70's Miyata Le Mans; 90's Colnago Altain; '92 Bridgestone MB4; '91 Schwinn CrossCut; 90's Panasonic MC Comp; 01 Intense Uzzi SL; 90's Specialized RockHopper

I think you need a custom bar to complement the curve of the frame, something like this but flipped

But seriously, IMO classic style Randonneur bar will fit the bill, comfortly and aesthethically

Bikes: Lots of English 3-speeds, a couple of old road bikes, 3 mountain bikes, 1 hybrid, and a couple of mash-ups

I like these, but they may not be correct for your bike's geometry.

Beat you to it. I am already running VO Porteurs on another minuvelo.

I like them, but the rise/drop of 1.5cm is too little for this build.
