Holdsworth frame ID

Hello fellow peddler's, Is there a system/website for identifying which type of Holdsworth frame I have by the stamped number, it seems to match lots of mixed details from various 1970's models, but cant pin it down to one.
(Campag lugs, chromed fork and stays, pearl white paint, 531 tubing)

Look at this thread, given that Kilgariff's data is no longer online nor updated, I believe that this is the state of the art and of the science of Holdsworth serial numbers!:
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...e-numbers.html

and BTW there are no "Campag lugs"

and furthermore: show us some pics of this frame!!!

Thanks for the replies, yes, my mistake, should have read campag fork ends/dropouts and bottom bracket cable guides.
Frame/fork number- 013545
I will attach some photos as soon as I figure the process out!

You are in the right place, you will need to play along for max benefit with lots of pics, clear, straight on, full view, closeup of lugs, dropouts, seatstay, BB, headbadge, fork crown, seatpost size, etc., etc.

Thanks, I have all these photos, but attaching them to a post
does seem to be a bit of a task- a URL link for all? I will figure it out.

Pre restoration Holdsworth

Thanks for your info and guidance, attached are a few pics of the bike as found and partly stripped- Bike was found in a refuse dump, without wheels and pedals, quite rusty, but otherwise complete. Parts removed were the 3ttt suede saddle and fluted seat post, 3ttt stem, Cinelli bars, Weinman 405 brakes, Stronglight 10 speed crank set and Suntour gears. (all of which were re-fitted after)
I will post more pics post restoration once I've edited them down to a smaller file size.

Pre restoration Holdsworth - 2

The frame was stripped bare and bead blasted to re start from a blank canvas ( I know some of you will hate me for doing this, but the frame is not that old to worry about vintage value and the condition was awful).
This obviously removed the chrome plating from the rear stays which I decided not to have re-chromed due to cost, however, I did get the forks stripped and re-chromed.
This process revealed the very tidy brazing job by the builder and also braze- filled holes on the fork tube where the enamel badge would have been riveted on previous models- cutbacks eh?- Drill out and find an original badge? Maybe later.

Yes I have included both the above frames and have this one down as 1979. Found a good few more numbers since and the updated file can be found on Google cloud, here.

Restored Holdsworth 3

So, frame now powder coated on the closest to the orange I could get (Ral 901 I think), forks re-chromed and all original parts re-fitted. I know the wheels and tyres are not period, but they get it on the road again!
Very pleased with the results, though a little small for me, but still lovely to ride.
Still looking to identify the model type though?

Its a nice looking Holdsworth, a bit different from what usually is shown here, but if it works for you its all good. there are several Holdsworths on here lately, search for those threads for some great examples of what has been accomplished.

Do you plan to change the wheelset to a more period correct? Just curious is all, not a critique at all. Some tan walled tires would make that pop, IMHO.

Looks GREAT! nice job, though yes it IS a strange build: those "Champagne" Simplex retrofriction shifters with those "Graham biscuit" Weinmann brakes...and those wheels...but the FRAME looks fine!

Anybody else realize that this excellent result was accomplished in less than 30 days!
Gotta be a record of some sort, especially with such a good outcome.

Very cool, well done.
