I've not sold anything on CL, been shying away from that for all the reasons you folks have stated. If I do we'll meet at the police station back lot. I've had mostly good experiences buying off CL but I only search locations out in the 'burbs or the farm country - not in the cities. If I have to travel and hour or more I plan other things to do 'out that-a-way' so if the meeting is a bust the rest of the trip is still good.
I've had communications problems and dealt with people with no common courtesy or common sense. That's life and makes me glad I don't have any friends like that. What morons! But mostly people are pretty nice. I'll do it again.
