Needs two tire guards, if you are going to ride it.
Beautiful restoration. I'm trying not to be envious...

Rides nice. Same as my blue Ilkeston bike. IMO the RRA and my Raleigh Competition GS ride best. Have not had the opportunity to compare to the rest of my bikes since I really do not ride much anymore, although I wish I could. I'm a distance runner so that takes up most of my recreational time. Do hope to spend more time riding this summer (but that's also what I said last winter).

Premier resto - time to return it to the time capsule to be opened by a future generation! Db, I cant see if the portacatena is mounted. Wasn't this the era when the team used 'em?

Looks good. The brake cable housing should be Campy & grey, however.

The Raleigh team used black. Black cable housing for the team bikes is well documented.

Thank you! I really like vintage bikes and restoring them and being careful what I do. Special machines. I try to do one per year. I wish I had more. My wife would like the basement back😕 So do not know how many more I'll collect.

What a beautiful bike! The first ultra-serious road racing bike I ever set eyes on at my local Raleigh dealer back in the late 70s. Your restoration sure does my memory justice.
