I see deals at the thrift shops from time to time, especially if you are just looking for a flipper and don't care about particular color/size/model/year. Bought my Schwinn there for $27, that has turned out to be my favorite rider.
That said, some of them seemingly have turned to punching in the bike on eBay, and pricing according to whatever is listed as BIN, so even that avenue is hit or miss.
