Hi, I have a frame which has been resprayed at sometime.I can see the frame number on the bottom bracket it has a large 28 and then a small 53 reading 2853 but the first two numbers twice the size of the second two smaller numbers.
The frame has Italian style with chromed sloping front fork crown.

Has anyone seen this numbering before and can they throw any light on it.

Pics are always helpful. Second digits seem as though they could relate to size.

H, No the frame size is also on the bottom bracket , it's a 60.
