rhm clubman Just came back in here to see if anyone had mentioned anything else, after returning to the new website. The heading in the tab that opens when you're there, and if you save the site to favorites, is "Classic British Bicycle Components." So, I that that answers that question...

Okay, well done! That is interesting.
Still, I'm puzzled. As much as I like "classic British," those terms, in this context, are pretty much synonymous with "obsolete." I have a hard time imagining any component that has the elegance of classic Chater Lea (or Williams, or Bayliss Wiley &c) and modern (read: shimanoesque) functionality; and certainly nothing affordable.

I think the world needs 11 speed compatible cottered Chromed Steel cranks and chainwheels.

Cassette Airlite hubs...

Disc option too...

Update

Chater-Lea has just updated its website.

Still no word on their products but quite a bit of interesting information and history: https://chaterlea.com/

Bikes: Cuevas & Cimmaron are my full time riders, small MB-3 and large Competition GS are my sometimers

Revivng this Zombie!

Saw a $4,000 dollar Mercian listed this a.m. as a Chater Lea model https://losangeles.craigslist.org/la...921285682.html wasn't in my bike vocabulary. When I looked it up I found this https://www.chaterlea.com/
This thread seems to have died before the current parts line was released. Spendy to be sure, but some slick looking stuff.
