How do you dispose of "broken" frames?

Close-up of the dropout/wood interface possible? Not sure what you did there.
I have an old Al Cannondale frame I got which was broken. I did about the same thing, but didn't make the back end long enough. Need to rework that part.

And a clever one at that! I've seen variations on this theme before. Is it more stable configured backward like that? I've got a few Comb Company Lamberts I plan to use in a similar way.

Hmmm... I have my "retired" frame hanging on the fence in the alley awaiting the metal scrappers. Maybe I should retrieve it and finish cutting it into pieces. I presume the key is to get the lengths right so the notes are pleasing?

Bikes: It's complicated.
Stamped dropouts, just bent them out 90 degrees and screwed into the wood through the rack eyelets.

I'm giving away all my ideas but I don't have the time or the tubes.

Indeed, plus the creativity in mounting them. My plans were to hang the tubes by shifter cables from a chainring, maybe use a cog for a striker, and maybe something like an old piece of saddle leather for a sail.

Regarding the chimes, for purity of the sound, be aware that it's going to be difficult to get them just right. Brazed-on cable guides, shifter bosses, bottle mounts, etc. will alter the tonal quality. So will butted tubing.
Cosmetically, the striker (if a cog) will beat the tar out of them. And they'll rust.
On second thought, to hell with all that. They'll be so freaking cool it won't matter.
