Help please! Local classified had this hike and no description. I offered to buy it just for the Silca pump and leather saddle. Turns out it's a treasure trove of early 80s Japanese goodness
7200 Dura Ace
Suntour Superbe Pro
Suntour Cyclone
Specialized
Campy shifters and seat binder bolt
1984 Brooks Professional

However, the frame escapes me. No markings. I haven't taken the fork out yet to check the steerer. Seatpost is 27.2. Campagnolo forged ends. Cinelli bottom bracket. Looks repainted, some rough spots near the brake bridge and chipping on front lugs, but doesn't appear structural. These lugs are pretty unique though. Anybody recognize them? ETA: perhaps early 80s Raleigh?

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

Is there a serial number?

My 1977 Raleigh Team Pro has the same lugs (Prugnat 54 Window), but the fork is very different, yours has brazed on cable guides, and lacks the oversized seatstay caps (two other obvious differences from that bicycle)

I've checked behind the seat tube and under the BB, but can't find a serial number, though the respray may have something to do with that.

Woah, cool frame! How about some shots of the shell and dropouts?

First thing I thought of was Mercian, but then I realized that's because I facilitated a black-with-red-accents one for one of our fine, upstanding members in Canada a few years ago. Still, the stay caps say British or French to me.

Shell width/threading? Btw, the lugset looks like Bocama Competition 83 to these eyes.
