fork id

hi, got a steel 1" chrome fork with campy dropouts, it has engraved NED on steerer (steerer is threaded), any ideas what it means? thanks

Pic of the fork crown would help. My guess is it is Dutch - "Nederland", or maybe Ned was worried about losing his parts.

The fork crown looks like a Tange C-10.

And yes, NED is generally used as an abbreviation for Nederland. However, in this case my money is on Old Ned, as I have no idea why someone would want to put Nederland on a steerer.

full fork, dont think that "NED" would do it to keep its parts safe

Technically, I believe those are fork tips. Dropouts are at the other end of the bike.

can it be haden fork crown?
still dont now the NED, but I do know it is haden europa 275/20 fork crown with reynolds new continental and campagnolo tips, all match but the NED...
