Schwinn vintage bike
I was given a Schwinn bike and the serial code I enter says its a 1959 Schwinn suburban but I'm not sure if that's correct. how can I know for sure what I have

The Suburban debuted in 1970 so your previous source of information is obviously incorrect. We'll need to see pics of the bike, frame serial number and headbadge in order to provide the most accurate information about what you have.

I had a 1968 Schwin once and it didn't take too long to find serial no. Info on the net.
Mine had 26x1.3/8 tires and even though bike shops have lots in that size they won't fit a Schwin as measurement between wheel beads different. Had to special order. Generally very solid bikes. Mine was a daily driver. Forced to sell due to life circumstances.. still miss it.
