brake-cable with smooth rolled inner-wire?
I remember seeing decades ago a brake-cable with inner-wire rolled smooth. So that the outer surface of inner-wire where it rubs on housing was actually smooth instead of braided. Anyone know who made this? Dia-compe? Is it still available?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Jagwire makes some. The Jagwire brake cables sold at REI are pulled through a mandrel or whatever. Edit: look for "die-extruded" on label.

The Jagwire teflon are still my choice when I can find them. The 3 REI's near me never managed to have more than 1 or 2 of them in stock, ever.
