Here we go again

Hello everyone,
Here we go again, after my Cinelli / Tecnotrat experience.
This time, it's slightly different but equally confusing to me, at any rate.
I bought a frame recently which I believe is a genuine Fanini CX. The seat stay tops are embossed Fanini CX and the bottom bracket is also embossed Fanini. The lugs are embossed with a small Columbus logo The fork crown is embossed Fanini with the Columbus logo above. So far so good.
The frame had Pogliaghi decals on it and these appeared to be genuine old decals; they certainly had several coats of clear varnish on them.
The tubing is in my opinion Columbus Gilco, it is crimped four times.
I was told that Fanini did not make frames for others and certainly not Pogliaghi !
To cut a long story short, it has been refinished in the same colour and with new Fanini decals.
Now to the fascinating bit.
Another Fanini frame has appeared for sale on ebay and it appears to be identical to mine. This time it is advertised as a Baglini Fanini. The seller has told me that he bought the frame from Mr. Baglini.
The ebay item number is 322648267241.
Does anyone know, what's going on with these Italian frames and dare I suggest - is Tecnotrat involved ?
Please put me in the picture because it's beyond me ! Does anyone really know ?
By the way, I'm told that the CX stands for Drag Coefficient and that an identical Fanini frame sold recently in Italy for 1000 euros. Phew !

I really have no idea what's going on with your frame, but FYI Fanini was a large car dealer or something that sponsored a bike team, or several bike teams. I've seen team bikes with the logo. Does it look like this? (hopefully this image will show, on my old googlephoto album)
