Bikes: Vintage Japanese Bicycles, Tange, Ishiwata, Kuwahara

They hit their peak in the mid 80's equipped with Araya alloy wheels and decent mechanical bits. Cost less than equal bikes made in USA. So, was the beginning of the great shift to Asian manufactured bicycles that eventually put Schwinn US out of business.
