New cover for Concor saddle?
I have a ratty white Concor saddle. Got it years ago when the leather split along the top rear edge and the first owner cast it aside. Split has grown over time and othe portions are wearing through.
Could buy a newer one, but am attached to it.
Anybody ever try to re-cover one of these? I want to try to keep foam intact as I know just enough about foam to know I will not be able to dupicate thickness and density with any accuracy.

The original Concor used pretty thin and stretchy leather. No sewn dart up forward like Cinelli.
I think sourcing the leather is the key part of the job.
Don't use 3M #77 , they do make a true upholstery adhesive, used to be called Super #90 , I have not seen it for a while but live in the Low VOC land, so maybe just not sold.
I like 3M Blue painters masking tape where needed.
I trim after I have done the bulk of the installation. I want enough length my fingers can manipulate.
Tandy Leather, Goodwill women's skirt racks, look for a A line leather skirt...

I recovered one a few years back, here’s a thread I started on another forum to document the process:
How Not To Recover A Saddle
It’s still going strong, but the leather has scuffed up along the sides...probably because I ride in jeans a lot:
Kangaroo leather is best if you can get hold of some.
Here's another guide with a slightly different technique I'm keen to try: https://www.instructables.com/id/refu...-with-leather/

Thanks for the suggestions. I knew I was hanging on that torn leather jacket for a reason. It is thin and soft so it should work well. But first I need to get another saddle....I want to do a text run before I tear apart the Concor.

I recently put faux leather on a Unicanitor saddle. The stuff was stretchy enough that I didn't have to stitch the nose. Finding real leather that's stretchy enough for that may be a challenge. New leather will be stretchier than an old jacket.
I put white leather on a padded Unicanitor for a friend a couple years ago. I had to hand stitch about 1½" at the nose. It wasn't difficult. I didn't remove the original cover from the foam but I did cut it around the edge, and discarded the part that was folded under and glued. I used contact cement, almost a whole bottle.
Good luck!
