Just spitballing but I see the following; 12 speeds not10, decal not head badge, 3 piece crank not cottered, "internal Lugs" not lugged frame, Managoly HLE tubing sticker not Carbolite 103 so my guess would be mid to late 80s, a drive side shot would give a view of the RD and might yield some more clues for the Pug experts out there

That is fabulous! But we need pics of the drive side.
The HLE tubing and 12 speeds will limit the range of years, at least. Focus on 1986-1989. Peugeot labeled their models differently from country to country, too, which makes identifying the darn thing even more difficult.

That does not look like a US market Peugeot; are you across the pond?

The frame was manufactured in August 1988, so it's probably a 1989 model. The presence of dropout eyelets and HLE tubing suggests fairly low on the food chain. Peugeot models varied substantially, depending on the market. Your York reference suggests you're in the UK. The 1988 UK catalogue shows three HLE models, the Aspin, Lautaret and HLE Premiere. It's probably the successor to one of these.

Ah yeah I should have mentioned, I am from Scotland and the previous owner has lived here their entire life and so I assume they bought it new from UK
