Roomy cups ?
I wanted to add clips and straps to my platform pedals. I ordered XL metal toe clips and the toe room is too small for my hiking shoes, Some of you guys like the cups without straps. I will try the cups but are there ones with a generous amount of toe room ?
Or........... are there clips with big toe area ? The XL ones are too small.
thanks,
Bob

i'm not sure what the requirements are here (should look vintage? something against being clipped in?) but you could also look into pedal straps if you're finding clips not to your liking. Hate to link Walmart but this is what i'm talking about

Those Walmart things look interesting. Don't tell anyone I am considering them
For now I ordered a pair of these: Hope they are big enough. If not I can return them.

I like the half clips, but I always felt the plastic version were the toe clips of death.

Bike messengers use those big velcro straps. They make sense to me.

Wanted to report back. I received the Zefal cups and tried them out. My shoe toes fit nicely. The cups give me just the right amount of support. I like them. I don't need the additional restriction from straps. Happy camper here
