Paramount serial numbers, special orders
Did Schwinn ever just use a year date code stamped on Paramount frames, without a month code? That is, 72390 and not K72390?
For "version 2" P13-9s, where the cable stops were deleted from under the top tube, did Schwinn offer welded cable guides on top of the top tube?

According to the Waterford site (https://waterfordbikes.com/w/culture...amount-dating/) they always used a letter prefix. The letter can sometimes be difficult to see if it was lightly struck and/or the frame was refinished.
If a P13-9 has brazed-on cable guides on the top of the top tube, I would suspect that they were added later and the frame re-painted.
