Another Centurion
I’ve been watching this Centurion on Craigslist for a couple weeks now. The price dropped done and I finally picked it up today. Slapped a Brooks on it to take a quick spin. New Paselas, bar tape and cables and it should be ready. My intentions for it was bad weather and a winter bike but this thing is clean.

Great bike. Of course, if you feel like selling it, you know where to look, and I mean LOOK SOUTH towards Evansville....
I was at the Hilly Hundred, and there was a '76 model the guy has had since new. Pearl paint scheme, awesome bike. I will get pics up when I get them out of my phone...

As always for you- neat find.
the rear derailleur is late 80s...about 88...so not original.
are there downtube bottle bosses on the top and bottom of the tube? Looks that way. But there arent bottle bosses on the seat tube? I don't see any.

I happened to see the rd and knew its from late 80s as i have one(on a bike its bot original to). Just thought to mention it since often times its difficult to discern what is and isnt original to some bikes due to a lack of catalogs.
definitely didn't mean to point it out in a negative way.

No worries, by the time I’m done there will be a few more non original parts. I bought it to ride not collect.

None on the seattube, but I might use clamps, two on the downtube.

Sometimes, especially when I built my Klein, I wondered if they meant "level touring."

The Centurion mount looks a lot easier to grab a bottle without getting the Cat 5 tattoo.

Looks like only one bottle cage on this '76 (per the owner) was "intended."
