Raleigh Professional frames
Perusing the Pro Bike Photo thread earlier, I noticed several photos of Laurent Fignon riding Raleigh bikes. Anyone have info on their pro bikes?

Hilary Stone did a brief write-up on the Raleigh Team bikes as part of a series of articles in Cycling Plus magazine.....

I've got a Raleigh Team frame made with 753, circa 1982 or so. Really fine craftsmanship, and I'm quite fond of the ride! As a somewhat light guy of 155 pounds, the lighter gauge tubes provide a better ride than regular gauge 531.

Here is my 83ish Raleigh TI Competition 531 it looks like the one in the article. I think of mine as replica, a very fine replica. This came with Normandy hubs, Shimano arrow FD and RD, Campagnolo rims and shifters, Hatta BB, wienman 605 brakes, SR custom cranks and handlebars.
Literaly saved ber from the dump, this was pulled from the recycling bin of Goodwill, crusty crusty crusty.
