Extremely rare Schwinn Paramount 50th anniversary frame and 50th anniversary Campagnolo Groupset NEVER ASSEMBLED! These were sold to a very select few Paramount dealers in 1988. This frame and group are STILL IN THE BOX! All components are included as well as the Campy carrying case and serial number card. This could be the crowning jewel in your collection!

BUT WAIT!!!!!! There's competition. Would you pay more for the following in as much it is already assembled and you don't have to do anything but hang it on a wall......I mean ride it?

New 1988 Schwinn Paramount(rare) (Westfield,IN) hide this posting

New 1988 Schwinn Paramount 50th Anniversary with a 24K Gold Fork, about 600 of this frames were made by the Waterford Co. in Wisconsin. The frame has Italian Columbus SLX tubing and sold as frame only to bike shops, then the customer will select the components, mine has NOS Campagnolo Nuovo Record components, 58 cm frame center crank to seat post, 12 speed with Regina gold free wheel and regina gold chain, Campagnolo Omega rims laced to Campy Super Record hubs, gold housing and handle bar tape, the crank/ seat post and Cinelli Perfection handle bar have been completely mirror polished by Jon Williams which has a Co. in Gran Pass OR. New Clement tubular tires. Beautiful Italian San Marco Rolls saddle. The bike was completely checked by Nebo Ridge bike shop on Michigan and 106st, in Carmel. The bike was never ridden.

I’m sorry but that fork is really unfortunate.

The old Schwinns continue to command a premium. Especially when they're "highly collectible" with "all original parts."
Obligatory "serious buyers only" and "will entertain reasonable offers" made the ad too.
Seller made sure to touch all the bases.

1957 Schwinn Stingray $2500 (Tucson)

^^^^^ Hardly C&V, though. Overpriced hunks of black/gray carbon are pretty common on the CLs around here.

Makes me wonder, though -- what happens with all those extreme aerodynamics when an average sized/shaped human sits on it?

Of course that's not a Schwinn.

Gee, I had a Yugoslavian equivalent folder, looked almost exactly the same. Sold it at the Westminster swap meet. For $50.00.
