Modify Eclipse/Cannondale front mount for riser stem?

Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

Since the pressure is probably even all around, it might be safe. I guess I should check periodically to see if I form cracks. I really don't know anything about carbon fiber.

I just used a twisty from Lowe's to replace the bag bungees. And I used a PVC light mount similar to noglider's. Pic later.

This is why Noglider and I did the fork mount for lights. Solutions below, posts 23-24.

Yepsir, I would normally be a modifier/inventor, but I'm still touring in Arizona. Not enough tools & raw materials on hand. 😉 But I just found the downtube cable stops I needed, so who knows what could happen here. 😁😉
