I have been building a Centurion TT in my dreams , well I did buy a 5 speed FW for it and I think hazetyguy is hanging on to a pair of bull horns for me . The guy in Greece is not budging of his $259. price for just a frame but if he did I would put this fork on it .

Originally, I had a complete black group for this, other than the DT shifters. As I fell into the DA stuff, that changed. I'm still pondering a 7800 RD and I already have a 7700 FD, so we could go full-on polished and retain the era...
Right now, I just have no time. The removal of the Rolf decals is about 2 hours, alone, per wheel, and I have to choose a headset.

As I recall, Kenny Souza (Duathlon King) rode a Haral very similar to this bike bitd. Also I think tennis great Ivan Lindell was featured in an advertisement (bitd) on a Haral similar to this centurion.

Yeah retaining the era is always nice. Yeah ....time......and money .....those are factors that can grind on you. And the rarity of some of these parts. However, it might just teach me patience by default...I keep hoping i stumble in to patience. The hunt is fun and talking about it all.

I strongly recommend a blog (I do not run it) at Lo pro cycling club which is called lopro blogspot. It is a veritable Aladdin's cave of vintage eighties and early nineties time trial bicycles. Hundreds upon hundreds of color photos of gorgeous vintage bicycles....many very rare obviously. A lot of famous cyclist and info is to be found there too. For me it is like a bike porn almanac.
