Bikes: Bakers dozen is the limit!
Campagnolo Porta Catena shift lever setup to shift the chain off the freewheel to a catch attached to the inside of the dropout for ease of wheel removal supposedly.

Great until I jump on the bike so equipped after riding "conventional" RD-fitted bikes -- and getting the first couple of shifts wrong.

Cinelli-specific rear brake cable hanger, made by Universal. I paid a stupid amount of money for this.

Cino Cinelli was a great designer and I love his bikes, but there are times when his proprietary designs are a bit of a nuisance.

But it does happen to me. It shouldn't -- some bikes are Campy NR, and one is Suntour Superbe, but one other has a Shimano Nexus 8 IGH that's "backward", and another is on a Simplex 543. And I do sometimes need a shift or two to realize "oh, yeah, pull back for taller gears". One presumes those on fixed gears -- "uh, not a problem ...for us!

Seatpost that allows the effective ST angle to be adjusted while riding:
The bike it's on was custom built in '72 by Singer for Jerry Collier, who assembled it with lots of esoteric parts he'd collected over decades, so no telling when the post was made. '50s maybe? I hung out with Jerry a lot in the '70s (and drooled on this bike) but if I ever asked about the seatpost, I don't remember what he said.
I wouldn't be surprised if Daniel Rebour drew it BITD. Check Heiko Strömer's Rebour archive maybe?

It is from 1953. It is easy to find in the files, as "Mahe" only comes up twice, when you search for it:

I love the exploded view — I could make one of those! Maybe I will.
