Clear Anodising
Has anybody re-anodised their bike parts in a clear finish? I have thought about doing some of my cranksets as a project this summer; luckily I am very near one of the few outlets in Australia that stock 98% Sulphuric Acid.

Are you thinking of setting up an anodizing line and doing this yourself? It isn't hard. You'll need tanks, heaters, temperature controllers and a power supply. There are some good online instructions on this. I have set up an small anodizing line for work.

Do us proud and document it all here, anodizing is something I've often thought of doing but never gotten around to, and I would love to see a post I can use as a nice tutorial, especially from someone on the bikeforums! I was thinking of doing some green anodized stuff for my Vitus 979.
