Frame is advertised as parts only, maybe in a front ender, but not sure, any opinions?
I have looked at a number of old Gitanes, and a couple had an angled lug.

What exactly is your question? Value? Whether we see evidence of a crash?
Whichever instance, we need a few more photos. Those two don't suggest crash to me.

Fairly difficult to make judgement based on the provided pics.
That said, neat and wicked light as some of these special French lightweights are, even noting 'handmade', the quality in brazing, filing, finishing AND alignment has always been questionable right out of the carton. To get the most of it, have the alignment checked by a pro frame builder.
Personally have a Super Vitus 980 tubed Peugeot that was 100% original and showed little use. I was happy with it but decided to make changes in wheels, rubber and some components. While apart, had the frame and fork checked for alignment, was told it was worthy. I take that as being it probably needed a tweeking.

Personally, wouldn't be afraid of it and actually recognize the seller as I've purchased from in the past.
Lastly, the listing mentions the original fork also available and in good condition.
Good luck!
