Will eBay penalize the seller anyway if he/she doesn't take the opened thread back and refund the buyer?

When playing hangman, I'll give you one guess on what's the best word to use. It works every time.

That box is probably worth some coin now that it's signed by FTW.

The OP apparently did indeed open a box, just not the one for sale.
Brent
I thought earlier but did not mention an old Jonathan Winters skit where he was playing Maude Frickert
It was at a funeral and Maude stated in part-
"look what ya' done to him, put him back in the box!"
I guess one has to be of a certain age to laugh at that.

DD,
Great snag! Now dip them in rubber and repackage in a new un-opened box. Should create quite a stir in the brake lever market. Smiles, MH

But it was already well-used!!! Surely it’s not worth as much now, as say, two days ago??? 🤔 Oh never mind, I could never keep up with inflation. 😒

Autographed collectibles are unpredictable. It would be interesting to see if that helps or hurts.

I know the collectible box community had planned their national convention, but had to cancel it due to the pandemic. I think they are meeting in small groups at local big box stores.

That's great, Drillium Dude - but I still have one question:

What's in the box?
