Thanks, doesn't look like that frame has the routing tabs that mine does, correct? That one has the routing clamp, right?

That's right- yours is a PA-10, mine is a PX-10. The PX-10s didn't start to get braze-on cable-guides, etc, until '75 or so (I think...). It is kind of interesting that down the range got brazed on bits before the near-the-top PX-10s did.

A little late to the game, but in looking at the frame I seem to recall a Junior model with the gold background on the seat tube decal and Bocama lugs (G-45/50?) The frame appears quite small, so perhaps not a PA10? That seat tube decal is unique. The junior models had 24 wheels and a 17.5 frame so should be easy to tell if I am wrong here.

Thanks. One more thing (the clamp) I don't have to worry about.

I picked this Peugeot up recently since my eye caught the TA cranks and having a heck of a time identifying model by trying to compare to images on internet. Serial number points to 1972. No decals and it has been poorly repainted by owner before the one I just bought it from. It has quite the mix of parts and I'm assuming many are original but maybe not. Mafac brake levers, Sheffield 36H hubs laced to Super Champion rims, it even has old school Jim Blackburn rack and bottle cages.

ddclarke : can you start a new thread for this one? Its an interesting bike from
my perspective: canti brakes on the front, usual Aztec lugged frame (AO/UO8 style). It appears either the lever bosses have been removed or were never there too. Anyway this should have its own ID thread.

appears cycle may have begun life as an A08 or U08 model
suspect canti bosses, top tube guides and water bottle mounts to all be post-fabrication additions
only remaining original fittings appear to be stem, bar, brake levers, saddle pillar and saddle pillar shim
even the headset is a replacement - usually the last fitting changed out
---
agree with mark that cycle should have its own thread
piggy-backing in general is not the best idea
