Quick Release C-Clip

Cannot seem to find any info on the small C-Clips that are used to secure certain quick release levers (as opposed to the levers that are threaded for a nut to secure). I am needing to locate a source for replacement C-Clips so any help or comments is appreciated. Thanks

Are you talking about Campagnolo-style quick-release levers for wheels? The chrome C-shaped clip does not secure the quick-release lever---all it does is make it slightly easier to turn the threaded nut on the skewer.

If you're talking about a conventional industrial C-clip, chances are it's a standard part that's available from industrial suppliers.

ff that's not what you mean either, please provide a photo or diagram.

I am referring to the style of QR levers (certain Campgnolo ones like Nuovo Tipo, Simplex etc) where they lever is not threaded to accept a securing nut and the C-Clip is the only means of securing the lever to the skewer. I will post a pic shortly. Thanks

they are "standard" , but do not expect Campagnolo and Simplex to share the same size... but they are metric.

my hunch you will have to go to Grainger or McMaster catalog to reference size.
have a good caliper to confirm size.

If you mean the clip that secures the QR lever arm, they can be non metric.
For Ofmega 1980ish the correct size is 3/16" imperial.
