eBay etc. in Europe

In the spirit of "eBay / CraigsList finds - "Are you looking for one of these!?" I wanted to make a thread for sharing deals found on online auction sites and second hand marketplaces that are located in Europe. Some of these might also be of interest on the other side of the pond...

Besides ebay.fr, ebay.de, ebay.it etc. there are lots of local "Craig's Lists" in different countries:

Austria

www.willhaben.at/

Belgium

www.2ememain.be/

France

www.leboncoin.fr/
www.paruvendu.fr/

Germany:

www.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/
www.kleinanzeigen.de/

Sweden

www.tradera.se/

Please feel free to add what you come across!
I hope this thread will prove useful to someone

Good place to find local collection only items sold by amateurs, eg. barn finds.

Browsing Leboncoin as an American who loves French bikes is not good for my health...

Anybody heard of Arsac ? Seriously considering, although the tubeset is unknown and the fork is not as roomy as some others. Seller quoted the weight at around 2,5 kg

Sadly, I've only ever had frustration with leboncoin.fr. As an American who is fluent in French, I thought I could convince at least one seller to ship to the United States. Apparently not--I've never succeeded in purchasing anything from that site, even a small bike light. Most messages are unanswered, and those that do respond are not willing to ship internationally or accept American credit cards. Folks on the retrobike.co.uk forum seem to have had similar experiences, so it's not just me. It is really a pity, since the prices are roughly 1/2 of what they are on US Ebay (e.g. Rene Herse 650B randonneur offered for 2800 euros). It's like the forbidden candy shop of French bike stuff!

Round trip to France is $600 off-season. Local pickup and Bob's yer uncle.

2.5kg for frame and fork seems unlikely but not impossible. That's quite light by any era's standards for steel.

For a 50-52cm frame that's not unheard of I think.

This 531 Laurent for comparison is 2320g according to the seller - crashed, unfortunately
https://www.ebay.com/itm/134806006028

and to RustyJames - I also tried Subito with Google Translate, didn't load properly for some reason

Agree. I had very rarely success in even getting an answer from leboncoin sellers as a foreigner, and that is even with me being able to provide french communication and shipping address. It is what it is I suppose. I managed to get both super rare french items I was hunting eventually (Corima fourspoke in 650 and a manta handlebar) but it took time and many tries.

Le bon coin and paru vendu, I would avoid them at all costs because often sellers aren't serious nor able to speak nor communicate in English and don't do international shipping for the most of them. Always check before buying on the bike registry if what a sellers propose you on these sites that what you are buying is legit and not stolen
