Mid 2000's Casati?
Perhaps not C&V yet (although the brand is), I picked this bike up for parts this past week but I've been trying to find out more about it. My guess is that it's a mid 2000's frame (so about 20 years old)? Have not had much luck finding brochures for Casati for that time period. It is labeled Casati Alluminio (and the company's web address on the chain stay) with Monza on the top tube, but I'm assuming Monza because the company is based close to that track in Italy.
Anyone know if these frames are decent or desired? I kind of hate to tear it down but I'll never likely ride it as it is a touch too small. The Sintema carbon fork is really nice but I think that's likely an upgrade/add-on by the previous owner. Not something you see every day though in the USA, for sure.

They also have an aluminum frame in the 1995 catalog.

It's using Columbus 7005 Triple butted alloy, so the frame is good stuff (as far as aluminum frames go). The web address on the chain stay makes me think it's at least 1998 or later as very rarely did you get URL's printed on such items before about 97/98.
But yeah, not much out there on the internet about these. Even looked through the internet archive for a while but the site wasn't archived really well until about 2006.

I sent an email to Casati Italy and they followed up really quick. They identified as a 2003 MY and was likely imported to the US as a frameset only.
Wish we had more Casati dealers in North America as they make some really nice steel "vintage" frames that look like they did in the 70's and 80's.
